Meet Didi Schoeman, Chairman and Managing Director of SanWild Sanctuary and Wildlife Trust. An accomplished filmmaker and conservationist with over 23 years of experience, Didi has dedicated his career to protecting endangered species and their habitats across Africa.

He holds an MBA from ISB and an N.Dip in Film and Video Technology. His expertise has led to wildlife documentaries featured on major international nature channels.

In April 2020, Didi rejoined SanWild’s board as Chairman and took over as Managing Director. He restructured the organization, appointed a new management team, and implemented sustainable tourism and conservation practices benefiting wildlife and local communities.

Under his leadership, Didi revived the non-profit, initiating rescue and rehabilitation projects for cheetahs, lions, and elephants, and promoting biodiversity conservation. His passion for animals and commitment to conservation make him a vital asset to both SanWild and the broader conservation community.
