Meet Lukas Geldenhuys, our dedicated Sanctuary Manager at SanWild!

Since joining our team with his wife Elzanne in October 2020, Lukas has been essential to our conservation efforts. With over 14 years of experience in game farm and sanctuary management, he oversees the welfare of our animals and leads security and anti-poaching operations.

Raised on a game farm, Lukas has a natural affinity for wildlife. A qualified PH, he ensures guest safety during game drives and bush walks. When not managing the sanctuary, he showcases his guitar skills—though it takes some persuasion to get him to play!

Lukas’s commitment to conserving endangered species and their habitats makes him an invaluable part of our team. We’re fortunate to have him with us in preserving biodiversity!
